I have been teaching for 19 years in instrumental music K-12 and hold a Bachelor of Music Education Degree from Florida State University and a Master's Degree in Curriculum with an emphasis on integrating technology in the classroom from Walden University. I am one of 30 NeXt Generation Educators in Sarasota County, a program started to encourage teachers to think "out of the box" when it comes to educational philosophy and technology integration. I am also a National Board Certified teacher. I serve on the Florida Music Educators Association executive board as the Mentoring Committe chair.
